Before we take responsibility for your environment, we establish what is there, what needs attention, and what a supportable managed-services relationship requires.

  • A baseline review of identity, endpoint, email, and access security controls

How it works

A responsible path into managed service

01

Assess

Establish the current state, operational risks, and requirements.

02

Plan

Define support scope, optional services, and remediation priorities.

03

Onboard

Document, standardize, and deploy the agreed management tools.

04

Accept

Begin full managed-service acceptance once critical requirements are met.

Some environments can begin with conditional service acceptance while lower-risk improvements continue. Critical security, recovery, or supportability gaps must be addressed before full acceptance.

Common questions

Before you begin

Why is the assessment paid?

It is real discovery work, not a sales call. We take the time to understand your environment, document what matters, identify gaps, and give you a practical recommendation you can keep.

What does the standard assessment cover?

It is designed for one primary location with up to 50 users, 100 managed endpoints, five physical servers or VM workloads, and one Microsoft 365 tenant. A typical satellite office is $250 additional; each standard server or VM workload beyond five is $100 additional. More complex environments receive a fixed custom assessment quote before work begins.

Can we assess cloud readiness and managed service together?

Yes. The combined Cloud Readiness and Managed IT & Security Baseline Assessment is $1,497 introductory pricing (regularly $3,000). It uses one shared discovery process and provides both the cloud roadmap and the managed-services supportability baseline.

Does the assessment obligate us to a managed-services agreement?

No. The assessment gives both sides the information needed to determine whether Synertek is a good fit and what a supportable engagement would require.

Can Synertek take over our existing tools?

Often, yes. We evaluate existing tools against supportability and recovery standards. When a tool is a good fit, we can manage it; when it is not, we explain why and recommend an alternative we can confidently support.

What happens after the assessment?

You receive a prioritized onboarding and remediation plan. Some environments can begin managed service with conditional acceptance while lower-risk improvements proceed; critical gaps must be addressed before full acceptance.
